Endonesia(PlayStation 2)
🔑 Making use of tools, gods, and feelings
How to work with three elements: tools that help progression, gods to rescue, and emotions.
Endonesia — what should I check first in Tools, gods, and emotions?
Emotions are your primary means of acting. Different scenes call for different feelings, so as your collection grows, knowing what is available and selecting it for the situation helps prevent blocks.
| Phase | Objective | Checklist |
|---|---|---|
| Early game | Learn emotions and observation through practice |
|
| Midgame | Travel the island and steadily rescue gods |
|
| Late game | Save the remaining gods and approach the conclusion |
|
1. You do not know what will advance the story
Cause: You have overlooked a target for an emotion or a spot to observe
Solution: Observe nearby people and objects systematically, then direct each available emotion at them and check the reactions
2. You keep wandering the same place without progress
Cause: You have not narrowed down accessible places or targets
Solution: Review the island map and systematically check unvisited places and people you have not spoken to
3. You cannot solve a puzzle because the correct emotion is unclear
Cause: You have not connected the scene's context with the appropriate emotion
Solution: Read the person's behavior and the situation's mood, then use elimination, beginning with emotions that seem suitable
Emotions are your primary means of acting. Different scenes call for different feelings, so as your collection grows, knowing what is available and selecting it for the situation helps prevent blocks.
- ▸ Review your available emotion types regularly
- ▸ Revisit blocked locations after obtaining a new emotion
- ▸ Prioritize emotions that seem suited to the person or situation
Alongside emotions, acquired tools can be keys to progress and puzzles. For tools with unclear uses, remember the clues and recall them in scenes that seem related.
- ▸ Remember descriptions and the circumstances in which tools were obtained
- ▸ Keep tools of unknown use for later scenes
- ▸ When a puzzle blocks you, check whether any tools remain unused
The 50 gods to rescue are both progression goals and the setting's center. Distinguishing rescued from unrescued gods clarifies your next objective.
- ▸ Track rescued and unrescued gods separately
- ▸ Note clues concerning gods still awaiting rescue
- ▸ Use rescuing gods to guide your next exploration
