Solution: Check that ghost's rescue requirements on a wiki, obtain the necessary items, then speak to it

Cause: The first-person ship layout is difficult to understand
Solution: Use a ship map to identify your deck and area, then visit unexplored sections in order
Problem: You cannot reach the desired ending
Cause: Insufficient rescued spirits or unmet special requirements
Solution: Check ending conditions and help every required ghost move on before the final chapter

Repeat exploration for clues, listening to spirits, and giving wish-fulfilling items to the right person or place. The ship is divided into sections, with doors and passages opening gradually rather than all at once. Begin by inspecting every accessible area. Items and words from spirits often unlock progress, so listen through conversations. Direct combat is rare; solving mysteries is how you advance.

Walk through the ship in first person, inspecting interesting objects and places for clues. Darkness reduces visibility and increases danger, so lighting directly improves exploration safety. Check shelves, desks, doorways, and other likely places for objects to reduce missed finds. Calm observation of unusual details is the first step toward progress.
