🔮 Branching endings and Nazokutsu challenges

Scenarios are independent and generally feature multiple endings, though some have only one. Initial actions and progression choices may affect branches, encouraging runs to see both good and bad outcomes. Separate Nazokutsu challenges and additions made for the port provide further collection and alternate-ending goals. Replaying with branches in mind broadens your options without requiring definitive plot spoilers here.

Senkutsu Katsuryuu Taisen Chaos Seed — what should I check first in Hidden scenarios and high-rating conditions?

Each scenario tells an independent story, often with multiple endings. Opening choices such as exploring town or immediately constructing a cave can determine good/bad branches. Pursuing a particular ending therefore requires attention to early actions as well as combat outcomes. After a clear, replaying with different choices reveals alternative developments and conclusions.

📋 Progression checklist
Phase Objective Checklist
Early game Build a basic layout with uninterrupted qi flow
  • ・Place rooms near the Dragon Furnace first
  • ・Avoid too many facilities with heavy qi consumption
  • ・Place delaying traps near entry points
Midgame Balance resources and defense
  • ・Maintain the ratio of qi-producing to defensive rooms
  • ・Channel intruders into 1 main route
  • ・Optimize placement before upgrading rooms
Late game Build to withstand difficult invasions
  • ・Create backup routes for multiple entrances
  • ・Prepare concentrated-fire rooms for boss-class intruders
  • ・Use surplus qi for healing to support long battles
⚠️ Troubleshooting

1. Rooms cannot function because qi is insufficient

Cause: Consumption exceeds production

Solution: Temporarily stop expensive rooms and increase production rooms first

2. Intruders reach the main sanctuary

Cause: The delaying section is inadequate

Solution: Layer delaying trap rooms at corners to lengthen the approach

3. Late waves collapse your defenses

Cause: Firepower is concentrated on one route

Solution: Add a backup defensive line and distribute incoming pressure
