Alundra 2 Guides
A PlayStation action adventure with 3D dungeons, puzzles and combat. Its protagonist and tone differ from the first Alundra; experiment with acquired tools to solve mechanisms and prepare for bosses.
English translation of the existing Japanese guide. Japanese-release names and mechanics are retained; this is not a new gameplay verification or a claim of complete coverage.
Early Game
Learn the 3D Action and Controls

Problem: Cannot Solve a Dungeon Puzzle
Cause: Not making use of acquired tools
Solution: Try each tool on the mechanisms and check differences in terrain elevation
Problem: Taking Too Many Hits in Boss Battles
Cause: Insufficient understanding of attack signals and mechanisms
Solution: Watch the boss's windup before evading and aim for the moment its weakness is exposed
Problem: Unsure of the Progression Route
Cause: Overlooking the next dungeon
Solution: Check the map and event dialogue and investigate unexplored locations
🗺️ Flint's Journey and the Flow of Dungeon Exploration
After starting, progress through events as Flint in the town and castle of Varuna, meeting major characters such as Alexia, the seventh princess, and the pirate Zeppo before heading to the first dungeon. In the 3D space, rotate the camera to check passages, doors, and ledges you can climb. Conversations often identify the next destination, so avoid missing them. Prioritize learning the controls and the rhythm of puzzle-solving early on.

Where the previous game offered several weapons such as bows and flails, this game centers its attacks on a sword. Manage distance from enemies and avoid hits by jumping or moving between attacks. With the 3D view, align the camera with enemy positions to make frontal sword attacks easier. Being surrounded puts you at a disadvantage, so retreat while dealing with enemies one at a time.

The game features powers associated with four elements: Siren for water, Pixie for wind, Dryad for wood, and Salamander for fire. These are not only offensive options in combat but also ways to solve particular mechanisms. Identifying which element is useful in each situation helps you clear dungeons. After gaining a new power, look for places it may let you overcome.
