UFO -A day in the life-(PlayStation)

🛸 A day of photographing and rescuing invisible passengers

Rescue 50 invisible passengers, called Chikyuujin, scattered through an apartment building on planet Chikyuu, using the Cosmoscanner. Rather than firing blindly, choose a room and time, observe, photograph, then return to the mothership for analysis. Mastering this cycle lets you steadily locate even invisible subjects.

UFO -A day in the life- — what should I check first in The basic rescue cycle?

From the mothership, choose a destination such as corridor ROKA or an apartment and a time period. On arrival, move the viewpoint to inspect the surroundings for invisible-passenger clues. Look through the Cosmoscanner and photograph a likely moment. Shot capacity is limited, so aim deliberately instead of taking blind bursts.

📋 Progression checklist
Phase Objective Checklist
Early game Understand the system
  • ・Learn the camera, or Cosmoscope
  • ・Understand room layouts and an apartment patrol route
  • ・Reliably photograph easier aliens first
Midgame Search efficiently
  • ・Track photographed and unphotographed aliens
  • ・Note aliens with appearance requirements
  • ・Patrol without wasting limited attempts
Late game Find missed targets
  • ・Work through the unphotographed list
  • ・Target aliens appearing only under particular conditions
  • ・Check ending requirements
⚠️ Troubleshooting

1. You cannot find aliens

Cause: Appearance locations or conditions are unclear

Solution: Patrol room by room and keep a list of photographed and unphotographed targets

2. Photograph opportunities run out

Cause: Too many shots are guesses

Solution: Photograph reliable targets first and reduce wasted shots

3. One particular alien cannot be photographed

Cause: Its appearance requirements are unmet

Solution: Check time-of-day and event-progress conditions before targeting it

Choose a room and time before entering

From the mothership, choose a destination such as corridor ROKA or an apartment and a time period. On arrival, move the viewpoint to inspect the surroundings for invisible-passenger clues. Look through the Cosmoscanner and photograph a likely moment. Shot capacity is limited, so aim deliberately instead of taking blind bursts.

  • ▸ Choose destinations through a room/time combination
  • ▸ Inspect the whole area by moving the viewpoint first
  • ▸ Film is finite; avoid wasted shots
  • ▸ Target changing locations rather than places where nothing happens
Analyze in the mothership's Mother Room

Return after photography and analyze your pictures in the Mother Room. Rescue succeeds when you have correctly captured the decisive, passenger-identifying Bacchi Scene. Missed shots and unrelated frames do not rescue anyone, so review their contents and plan the next target.

  • ▸ Return to the mothership and analyze photographs
  • ▸ Rescue depends on capturing the Bacchi Scene
  • ▸ Read further clues even from unsuccessful photographs
  • ▸ Rescue each passenger only after gathering their required scenes
Increase the rescue total gradually

You cannot rescue everyone in one visit; successfully photographed passengers are brought aboard gradually. Remaining passengers often hide in other rooms or time periods. Vary destinations across cycles to reduce omissions. Keep the overall target of 50 in mind while securing easier passengers first.

  • ▸ Accumulate rescues individually rather than rescuing everyone at once
  • ▸ Unrescued passengers occupy other places or time periods
  • ▸ Expand the search by changing destinations each cycle
  • ▸ Secure easy passengers first
