🎧 Follow a story told entirely through sound, without visuals
There is almost no searching for commands or interacting with a screen: continuing to listen to the characters' conversations, sound effects, and music is itself how the story progresses. The story begins with the meeting of Hiroshi Nonomura and Izumi Sakurai, and scenes are depicted through voice acting and sound effects alone. Listen closely and imagine each scene as you proceed. A run is said to take roughly four hours, making this a work to settle down with.
Listening through the story — read →🔔 Use the controller to choose at the chime
When the story reaches an important fork, a chime tells you that it is time to choose. This cue is designed to make branches clear even to people who cannot see a screen. When you hear it, listen to the options being presented, then indicate your choice with the controller. Remember that this audio cue is a central part of play.

With no visuals, how you hear the sound can be said to determine the entire experience. Choose quiet surroundings and use headphones or capable speakers so that whispered lines and ambient sounds come through clearly. Another way to enjoy it is to dim the lights and close your eyes, letting yourself enter the story more fully. Find a volume and posture that help you concentrate.
