Night in the Woods: Demontower’s Ten Floors and True Ending
Separate an ordinary clear from the additional ending using the bird’s clues.

Unlocking the minigame

After Angus repairs your computer, launch it in your bedroom. This minigame is separate from main-story friend choices.
- Practice attack recovery and dash distance on early floors.
- Find each floor’s key and proceed to the boss near the exit. You do not need to kill every minor enemy.
- When health is low, use corridors to avoid fighting several enemies together.
Health conditions and available dashes change as you climb. Do not keep relying on early-game damage trading.

Use the positions seen on floors 2, 4, 6 and 8 in your own save. Do not copy a fixed solution from a different run.
Additional-ending actions
Reveal solution (spoilers)
Killing the green bird prevents gathering the clues in that run.
- Record the bird’s indicated positions in order on floors 2, 4, 6 and 8.
- At the eight graves on floor 10, enter the four recorded positions in order.
- Take the key from the opened chest.
- Use the key on the large cat’s wound, then defeat the final boss.
After retrying the final boss, recheck the cat’s wound state. Defeating the boss alone does not prove the additional condition was completed.
Final boss: watch the red blood
Reveal solution (spoilers)
Avoid leaving the enemy in an advantageous position rather than focusing only on hits.
- Keep a vertical escape route near the center.
- Dodge an approach, attack briefly, then disengage immediately.
- Avoid letting it heal on red blood; do not push it there indiscriminately.
- Save a dash for the next approach instead of spending all dashes together.
The main story and Demontower have separate endings. Failing the minigame does not stop the main story.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use a fixed grave solution?
Use the positions indicated by the bird in your own playthrough. Record floors 2, 4, 6 and 8 in order and note the grave layout.
What if I killed the green bird?
Restart the minigame if you want the additional ending and need to meet its conditions. You can still continue the main story normally.
