Momodora: Gallery, Castle, True Ending and Hidden Boss
From the four crests to the queen; distinguish Sealed Wind, Fresh Spring Leaf and the soft fabric.
Royal gallery: collect Sealed Wind
Show / hide details
Decide the next landing before stepping onto a crumbling gray platform.
- Near the entrance’s greatsword skeleton, collect the life upgrade below. Climb via pink launch pads and ladders; entering the crumbling-platform section from the upper route reaches another life upgrade.
- Avoid the small paintings’ attacks and enter the large room with a sphere switch and lifts. Use cat form for side holes and sphere recesses to collect a bug.
- From the sphere room, take the right slope and ladders. Climb farther with pink pads to collect Sealed Wind.
- Return down, cross the swinging platforms and fight Lupiar and Magnolia. The fight continues after Lupiar falls, so save healing.
- Save at the bell after the fight and follow the lower route toward the castle. Open bridge and gate switches before teleporting so you can return.
Sealed Wind can attack but is also required for the ending detour. Merely carrying it does not complete the true-ending condition.
Create the Fresh Spring Leaf
Reveal solution (spoilers)
Check that the leaf’s name changes before facing the queen.
- After obtaining Sealed Wind, teleport to the monastery and head left to the outdoor windmill in town.
- Use Sealed Wind near the windmill. Enter the newly opened small passage in cat form.
- Descend to the water and choose to immerse the leaf. Confirm Fresh Spring Leaf in your inventory.
- Return to the castle and defeat the queen. The ending differs from defeating her with the unupgraded leaf.
100% map and 20 bugs are separate achievements, not part of a single combined leaf-upgrade condition.
Open the Choir fight
Show / hide details
The soft fabric is in the cat passage below the bell before Fennel at the monastery, not in the gallery.
- Give the fabric to the black-clothed person near the monastery teleport point.
- With all four crests collected, leave and re-enter to confirm the person has moved.
- Take the side route above the monastery’s long ladder. The formerly closed room becomes Choir’s arena.
- Lure the tracking white orbs to one side before dodging. Use your summoning items together when low health makes the attacks more intense.
Giving away the fabric removes your ability to use it. Distinguish handing it over for the hidden boss from keeping it as a healing item.
Castle spikes to the final bell
Show / hide details
Invisible platforms and breakable floors can hide routes at apparent dead ends.
- Advance along the lower castle, open the bridge switch and reach the teleport bell. Alternate air dodges with cat form’s small hitbox.
- Cross the large red-spike pit on invisible platforms near the background statues. Mix jumps and air dodges on crumbling brown floors.
- Left of the upper bell, strike the recess before the block gap to reveal a ladder. Descend, air-dodge the spikes and collect the life upgrade.
- Test the duplicate fairies one at a time; retreat when a false one produces falling hazards. Avoid hitting every copy with broad attacks at once.
- Check the right recess after the fairy for the final bug. Continue up, dodge magic sideways on lifts and save at the bell before the queen.
The approach from the final bell to the queen also has map coverage. Do not assume 100% without checking unexplored rooms.
Survive the queen’s three phases
Reveal solution (spoilers)
One depleted health bar is not the whole fight. Budget uses for a long sequence.
- In phase one, avoid triangles embedded in the ground. When she vanishes, prepare for attacks from below instead of standing still with the bow.
- In phase two, use the central area between attacks from either side and shoot after explosions. Track both the queen and floor blasts.
- In the giant phase, distinguish attacks with safety directly underneath from those requiring distance. Retreat when she inhales red orbs and wait out the release.
- Use saved summons and damage boosts in the final phase. Heal during a safe animation rather than taking another hit immediately after drinking.
Treat a no-damage reward run separately from your first clear; learn the phase transitions first.
