Check surface and underground routes together

Show / hide details

East-side detours are easy to miss just after resurfacing. Check your map before and after elevators.

  1. Activate the warp and distinguish the east, northeast and south entrances.
  2. Record the one-key door underground and explore it if you have the key.
  3. After resurfacing beyond the three-module door, walk around after the battle too.
  4. Defeat The Emperor, then check the module and pillar beyond.

Nearby rocks and ground markings hint at invisible water paths. Probe the direction where platforms appear instead of blindly dashing far.

Eight eastern modules

Show / hide details

Do not confuse one-key and three-key rooms with doors opened by modules.

Four eastern monoliths

Show / hide details

Paths also hide behind buildings and tents, not just on water platforms.

Southern treeFind the switch near the tree south of the warp and follow the appearing path north.
Behind the northern buildingAt the foot of the large northern stairs, walk behind the building.
Right of the boss doorPress the switch behind the tent right of the large boss door.
Eight-module doorOpen the northeast facility door, fight, take the elevator up and turn left immediately.

Check around the elevator instead of continuing straight to the next screen after resurfacing.

The Emperor: landings and adds

Show / hide details

Move away from the landing point and attack only during the pause.

  1. Back away when it leaps; strike a few times after landing, then retreat.
  2. Clear plants and explosives that block your escape first.
  3. Keep ammunition so you can still attack when melee is out of reach.
  4. Return toward the center before being trapped at a wall.

Avoid the landing first, then approach; waiting at the landing point to attack is riskier.

Frequently asked questions

The southern combat room does not open the hidden underground route.

After the first enemies, walk north and return to trigger the additional encounter. Then inspect the three-key door and hidden wall underground.
